  All a bit underwhelming considering the reviews. Visually, a lovely little place with a comfortable and relaxed decor (great for a date!) but the food was incredibly average considering the price. Not a great range on offer for veggies (not too bad if you eat fish) but the meal I had of roasted cauliflower with bulger wheat and hazelnuts - although flavourful - was very oily and the side of onion rings I'd ordered were served cold. Friend had steak and chips which she described as 'I've had better from a pub kitchen on a busy Sunday' with her chips also arriving cold. Considering our meal of 2 mains, 2 sides and one bottle of water (and no alcohol) was just over £50.00 (with the already pre-added service charge) I would say it was all a bit disappointing, especially with such unenthusiastic service from the staff.
