  At last, a toy shop that sells proper toys and staff that love what they sell! !!
  
  Whirligig is a fabulous find that I hope to return to next time I'm in Brighton (apart from the fact it just happens to be right opposite Temptation Cafe on Gardner Street which is owned by the same person!). Peter the owner was on duty when I called in, and his enthusiasm for what he sells is infectious, as he told me he has made or played with everything in the shop.
  
  The toys are a mixture of nostalgic,crafty, fun,educational, but mostly NOT PLASTIC and not the kind of thing you will find discarded under your sofa a few weeks later, thank goodness, and the prices are competitive ranging from a few pounds to a few tens of pounds for something extra special.
  
  I highly recommend Whirligig as a great shopping experience.
